Capital Market and Operational Tools to Hedge Risk

Capital Market Instruments
• Work with management to select currency exposures appropriate for hedging in the capital markets.

• Recommend appropriate strategies for managing short and long term foreign exchange and interest rate exposures.

• Advise on international capital market products and practices.

• Aid in the development of investment and commercial bank relations for trading, financing and/or informational purposes.

Operational Procedures and Systems
• Work with management to identify operations which can be implemented to reduce exposures, such as netting of intercompany payments.

• Assist in the implementation of operational procedures and systems which will reduce exposures.
